Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Course

Registration Open for SANE Training Made Possible by Foxwynd Foundation DAF

West Chester, PA — CVC is proud to be providing an Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Course this month at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus on March 31st, April 1st, April 7th, and April 8th from 7:30 am to 5:30 PM.  All registrants must attend all four dates. This training is being offered free to all local nurses.  SANE training for local nurses is vital, as it ensures that victims of sexual assault have accessible, compassionate, and comprehensive care following the traumatic event. Through their training, SANEs learn to conduct forensic examinations, collect and preserve evidence, and provide critical documentation that can be vital in legal proceedings. They work alongside CVC Victim Advocates who provide emotional support, information and resources.

Those interested in registering can register at www.jmfnc.com and questions can be directed to CVC’s COO, Ashley Shea at ashleys@cvcofcc.org.
